The Coffee Club in Orion and Sip ‘n’ Dip created a partnership in 2019 that has turned into a community of fun and friendship. Manager and owner of Coffee Club Orion, Neha Arora, wanted to expand her franchise into the arts and crafts, to create an experience beyond food in her business.
Neha approached Sip ‘n’ Dip director Jaana, to start a creative collaboration between the two organisations. Beyond a professional relationship, the two have strengthened their relationship as managers and working mothers, both finding support in each other from these difficult times during the pandemic.
Neha’s favourite of Sip ‘n’ Dips classes in canvas painting… “A canvas can tell such a story. I’ve seen kids use their imagination on canvas, it’s gorgeous to see it.”
This relationship has grown to The Coffee Club hosting around three classes a week, with more over school holidays. Neha says that she trains her team specifically for these events, helping to make the experience memorable, but also to help the artists. The Coffee Club tries to make each Sip ‘n’ Dip event a brilliant experience, through their tasty range of meals offered, a variety of house wines, and even live music on occasion.
Orion is the first Coffee Club to host Sip ‘n’ Dip classes - but has opened the door for other franchises to come forward and join in on the experience. Neha believes that the collaboration between food and art has helped to bring together a community in Orion, with families, friends and colleagues all attending to spend quality time with each other.
